KnowledgEquity is now CPA Australia’s Official Learning Partner in Semester 2, 2019

We have some pretty special news!! Over the past few months, KnowledgEquity and CPA Australia have been working together to finalise a Guided Learning Support suite where a range of our popular tuition support resources are embedded in the CPA Program.

KnowledgEquity is pleased to announce that we are CPA Australia’s Official Learning Partner for Semester 2 2019. We know CPA candidates will have questions so we have tried to answer the key ones below.

What do I get with the CPA Guided Learning Support package?

You get free access to our current Exam Ready course. This includes over 50 videos per subject, a review quiz per module, 25 Mini-Quizzes, 14 recorded webinars, 2 practice exams, as well as the flowcharts, exercises and case studies we have now. And most importantly, you get our support, our desire to motivate you, assist you and guide you through your CPA exam. As an added bonus, we will be the expert forum responders for you in MYOL.

What subjects are included?

The core subjects and the general electives are included. The Financial planning suite of electives are not currently included.

What about live weekly webinars and marked practice exams?

Our ten weekly live webinars from our Full Focus course are not included in the Guided Learning Support package. These will be sold separately through our website. With the CPA offering, you will receive 10 recorded weekly webinars with presentation slides. All your practice exam MCQs are automatically marked and you receive detailed solutions and explanations. If you want to receive written feedback and a mark for your ERQs (written response section), this will also be sold separately through our website.

What if I have a Full Focus value pack?

You will be able to use your value pack to get access to the live webinars and marked practice exams. If you would prefer to only use the Exam Ready course that is now available from CPA, you can organise a refund of your value pack purchase. Please note, there is a $50 administration processing fee. We will message value pack holders separately with further instructions.

What if I have the Exam Ready value pack?

You can ask for a free upgrade to our Full Focus course and receive the live webinars and marked practice exams. Alternatively, you can organise a refund of your value pack purchase. We will message value pack holders separately with further instructions.

What if I have the Revision Plus value pack?

You can ask for a free upgrade to our Full Focus course and receive the live webinars and marked practice exams. Alternatively, you can organise a refund of your value pack purchase. We will message value pack holders separately with further instructions.

What if I failed or deferred my subject (other than Ethics & Governance)?

If you need to rollover a Revision Plus or Exam Ready course, you will automatically gain access to Exam Ready resources at no cost. If you had a Full Focus course and need to roll over, you pay the $30 administration fee and are placed in the Full Focus course again.

What if I failed or deferred Ethics & Governance?

If you need to rollover a Revision Plus or Exam Ready course, you will automatically gain access to Exam Ready resources at no cost. If you had a Full Focus course and are happy with Exam Ready resources, you will automatically gain access at no cost. If you want access to the live webinars and marked practice exams, you will need to sign up to our Full Focus course, as our rollover policy does not apply to Ethics & Governance because of the significantly discounted price.

How do I get access to the course?

The materials will be available through the KnowledgEquity website/platform, the same way as in the past. We will contact all students to explain how to login and gain access closer to the start of semester.

How will MYOL forums work?

These will operate in the same way as previous semesters. The only difference is we will be able to point you to helpful resources such as short videos and the recorded webinars to help you understand the material.

How do I contact KnowledgEquity instructors?

Our subject mailboxes are still open and you can use them to write to subject instructors.

What additional resources are included?

Pre-recorded webinars will be available from mid-July. You can use these in combination with the online units to get ahead in your studies.

What about the financial planning suite of electives, or foundation subjects?

Financial planning subjects, practice management and foundation subjects are not included in the CPA/KnowledgEquity offering for semester 2, 2019. This may change in the future.

Is KnowledgEquity offering face to face classes?

We will not be offering face to face classes as part of this partnership with CPA. Please contact CPA for information on face to face classes.
